Dear fellow countrymen!
Culturally-minded residents of the capital!
On these wonderful spring days, I sincerely congratulate the noble people of Tajikistan and all of our fellow countrymen abroad on the arrival of the radiant holiday of Nowruz!
Nowruz is the greatest and oldest tradition of our cultural ancestors, celebrated for over six thousand years as a symbol of the new year, the time of the equinox, and the awakening of nature.
The rituals and traditions of Nowruz embody the highest manifestations of love for humanity and purity of thoughts, contributing to the realization of national identity and the formation of the moral culture of human society.
During Nowruz, our people preserve noble traditions of humanity, such as visiting orphans and people with disabilities, honoring parents, and assisting those in need.
For us, the Tajiks, and other peoples of the Nowruz region, it is a great honor that this ancient holiday has been included in the List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and has been celebrated as an international holiday in all countries of the world since 2010.
The international recognition of Nowruz obliges us to respect and preserve the moral and spiritual traditions, as well as the valuable characteristics of this great national holiday inherent to the Tajik people, and to represent them dignifiedly to the world.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate all the residents of the country, all Tajiks and Persian-speaking peoples of the world, as well as all the nations within the sphere of Nowruz civilization, on the arrival of the new year of our ancestors — the International Nowruz holiday. I wish that peace and tranquility, political stability, and national unity in our independent homeland — Tajikistan — may be eternal.
May the blessed International Nowruz holiday bring joy to you, dear fellow countrymen!
