Dushanbe, 06.03.2025. Today, on the occasion of Mother's Day, the cultural program titled "Mother - An Angel on Earth" was held at the "Surosh" Palace of Culture, organized by the Executive Body of State Power of the City of Dushanbe.
The event was attended by women, mothers, activists, employees of various government and city structures, as well as representatives from various sectors of society.
The opening speech was given by the First Deputy Mayor of Dushanbe, Sharifie Bakhtiyor, who conveyed a congratulatory message on behalf of the President of Dushanbe, respected Rustami Emomali, to all mothers, women, and citizens, wishing them health, happiness, prosperity, and success. She emphasized that this significant day coincides with the beginning of the beautiful spring and the eve of the new year according to the lunar calendar.
It was highlighted that a mother is a source of light and healing for every family, an invaluable treasure, and an angel for her children. At the same time, the role of a mother lies in preserving culture, literature, language, and national identity, and the upbringing of every child also rests on the shoulders of the mother. The well-being of each family directly depends on the wisdom and creative power of women — mothers. That is why the prosperity of each family is a symbol of stability and well-being in the state and society.
The Executive Body of State Power of the City of Dushanbe, in the framework of the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, always prioritizes the protection of women's and mothers' rights and interests and takes all necessary measures to improve the social status of women and mothers, protect the rights of families, mothers, and children, create favorable living and working conditions for women and mothers, and, importantly, increase their participation in government and enhance their social role.
It was also noted that mothers and sisters, as residents of the capital, always support and contribute to the mayor's initiatives and play an important role in the implementation of projects for the beautification and development of the city.
To lift the spirits of the women, mothers, and event participants, a concert was presented, consisting of songs and melodies in honor of women and mothers, performed by masters of the arts and young performers.
