On May 8, 2025, a meeting was held between the Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sherali Kabir, and a delegation of the German Association of Small and Medium-Sized Businesses (BVMW).
During the meeting, opportunities for strengthening bilateral cooperation in the industrial sector, the introduction of new technologies, the development of small and medium-sized enterprises, and the establishment of joint ventures were discussed. The Minister of Industry and New Technologies presented investment opportunities in Tajikistan, including in free economic zones and priority industrial sectors.
The BVMW delegation expressed its readiness to expand trade cooperation and introduce modern German experience and technology to Tajikistan. The parties also emphasized the need to hold joint business conferences and forums.
The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere and was regarded as an important step in the development of economic and industrial relations between Tajikistan and Germany.
