On April 13, 2026, Mr. Jahongir Abdumavlonovich Marupov, Scientific Secretary of the Republican Research Center for Sericulture, successfully defended his dissertation on the topic “Study of the Presence of Malondialdehyde in Mulberry Tree Leaves and Its Relationship with Valuable Indicators of the Silkworm Bombyx mori L.”
The dissertation was defended before the Dissertation Council (PhD.08/2025.27.12.Qx.08.01) at the Scientific Research Institute of Sericulture of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Tashkent, for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Agricultural Sciences, in the specialty 06.02.04 — “Sericulture.”
This significant event took place within the framework of the friendly relations between the two neighboring countries — the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan. It further strengthens scientific cooperation and ties between scientists of the two countries and gives new impetus to the development of sericulture science.
