A parliamentary delegation from the Majlisi Namoyandagon, led by Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, arrived in Istanbul, Türkiye, today. The visit follows invitations from the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Numan Kurtulmuş, and the Secretary General of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly, Mohammad Reza Majidi. The delegation will participate in the 152nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly and a coordination session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
The delegation includes Ghairat Azizzoda, a member of the Committee of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on State Structure and Local Self-Government; Dilafruz Saidi, a member of the Committee on Energy, Industry, Construction, and Communications; and Zafar Faizullozoda, Head of the Secretariat of the Leadership of the Majlisi Namoyandagon.
During the visit, Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, Faizali Idizoda, is expected to hold meetings with high-level delegations from the Republic of Kyrgyzstan and other member states to discuss ways to strengthen bilateral relations and expand inter-parliamentary cooperation.
