On June 20, 2026, the branch of the Institute of Livestock and Pasture Management of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences in the Sughd Region is scheduled to hold an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Innovative Methods of Using Genetic Resources of Farm Animals in Ensuring Food Security.” The conference is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and the 100th anniversary of the distinguished Tajik scientist, Professor M. J. Zokirov.
The conference will take place in the conference hall of the cultural and historical complex of the Khujand Fortress in the city of Khujand, Sughd Region.
Scientists and specialists from foreign countries are expected to participate in this conference.
