Today, May 15, 2026, a meeting of the Coordinating Council of Law Enforcement Agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan was held at the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan. The meeting was convened to implement the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and was chaired by the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of Law Enforcement Agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan, Prosecutor General of the Republic of Tajikistan, Colonel-General of Justice Vohidzoda Habibullo Saidullo. The meeting was attended by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan and Chairman of the Coordinating Council for the Activities of Inspection Bodies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kholiqzoda Hokim Hikmatullo, as well as heads of regulatory and inspection authorities.
During the meeting, it was noted that one of the priority areas of the Government’s economic policy is comprehensive support for the initiatives of entrepreneurs and investors, while their activities are recognized as an important factor in the sustainable development of the national economy.
Alongside compliance with the requirements of the aforementioned legislation, cases of interference in entrepreneurial activities, unjustified inspections, and other shortcomings and violations of the law continue to occur in the activities of regulatory and inspection authorities.
In this regard, in 2024–2025, prosecutorial authorities identified 1,842 violations in monitoring compliance with and implementation of legislation concerning the moratorium, protection, and state support of entrepreneurship. The implementation of the moratorium has had a positive impact by reducing the number of inspections, gradually eliminating interference in entrepreneurial activities, improving the business and investment climate, developing the private sector, and creating jobs. It has also contributed to the improvement and expansion of state budget revenues.
In this regard, the attention of regulatory and inspection authorities and relevant state bodies was drawn to the need to ensure strict compliance with and implementation of the aforementioned legislation. It was emphasized that, in continuation of the policy pursued by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, the necessary measures should be taken to create favorable conditions for the development of entrepreneurship and investment.
