The National Testing Center under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan informs individuals wishing to study in part-time and distance-learning formats at institutions of secondary and higher professional education of the Republic of Tajikistan that the fourth stage of applicant registration for participation in the Centralized Entrance Tests (CET) to secondary and higher professional educational institutions of the Republic of Tajikistan in 2025 began on 29 October 2025.
For the registration of applicants (fourth stage), registration points have been opened in eight selected cities and districts of the country — Dushanbe, Khorugh, Khujand, Panjakent, Bokhtar, Kulob, Danghara, and Rasht. Their list is given below.
persons who have never previously registered to participate in CET–2025;
applicants who registered in the first, second, or third stages but did not participate in the exams of those stages;
applicants who took part in one of the exam stages but did not pass the competition, that is, did not obtain the minimum passing score in one or more subtests;
applicants who passed the competition in one of the distribution rounds (main, repeated, or additional repeated distribution of the first three stages of CET–2025) but did not appear for enrolment at the relevant educational institutions;
applicants who passed the competition for medical specialities but were not admitted to medical educational institutions due to illnesses that legally prohibit studying in medical programmes.
Each person wishing to take part in the fourth stage of CET–2025 must personally appear at one of the registration points with the necessary documents (the list is provided below), since registration is carried out only with the mandatory personal presence of the applicant.
The duration of the fourth registration stage is until 28 November of the current year.
We remind you that an applicant registered at this stage may, if desired, change their initial choices within the established period. For re-registration, the applicant must contact the same registration point where they were originally registered.
It should be noted that, in accordance with the procedure established by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, during the fourth stage of registration, applicants are offered only vacant places within the student admission plan in part-time and distance-learning formats of all or of certain institutions of secondary and higher professional education. In this regard, at this registration stage, only those specialities are offered for which vacant places remain in the specified forms of study.
Applicants are free to choose their specialities and may select up to 12 combinations of specialities, but only within one group of specialities.
During registration, it is necessary to choose:
the exam language: Russian or Tajik,
the exam location,
the address for sending the admission notice.
Applicants choosing specialities from the following groups:
Group 2 (economics and geography),
Group 3 (philology, pedagogy, and arts),
Group 4 (social sciences and law),
may choose one foreign language for the exam: English, German, French, or Arabic.
Parents should be well informed about the choices of their children — the combinations of specialities, educational institutions, and the form and type of study. As has been repeatedly emphasized, and as more than a decade of the Center’s experience confirms, no one and nothing can influence the exam results. In order to become a student, an applicant must rely only on their own knowledge and skills.
According to the preliminary plan, applicants registered in the fourth stage will take Part A (the exam based on general education) on 7 December.
As their exam location, applicants may choose one of the following cities and districts: Dushanbe, Khorugh, Khujand, Panjakent, Bokhtar, Kulob, Danghara, and Rasht.
Applicants choosing specialities that require creative examinations or tests of special skills will take Part B on 5 and 6 December at the respective educational institutions.
The cost of the service for persons with general secondary, primary, or secondary professional education who wish to register to participate in CET–2025 is:
370 somoni — initial registration,
30 somoni — re-registration.
