The protection of independence and national unity is the sacred duty of every inhabitant of this land, as well as the guarantor of peace and tranquility, national identity and stability of the country. Thanks to the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, our homeland steadily moved forward, stability and security of the people of the country were ensured. Nowadays, one of the crimes that pose a serious threat to the foundations of the constitutional order and the security of the state are crimes of a terrorist and extremist nature. All the States of the world are trying to find a new way to combat this unfavorable phenomenon of society and eradicate it as soon as possible. This dangerous process can lead to the destruction of peoples, nations and States. It cannot be that the entire world community remains aloof from the threat of this adverse phenomenon. The founder of peace and national unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, in his speech at high–level summits, said: "Today we are all witnessing terrible and tragic events taking place in different parts of the world. The scale of terrorism and extremism, armed religious wars and conflicts, transnational organized crime and drug trafficking pose a serious threat to the security of our countries. Now the intensification of terrorist and extremist groups and other Irtysh movements in hot spots of the world has put the safety of all people on the planet at risk." For the first time, the terms "terror” and “terrorism” were introduced into use by a certain group of people during the Great French Revolution of 1793-1797, however, it is believed that this word is a modified form of the Arabic word "Tarr". People say that he is “evil”, Perhaps the Europeans borrowed the word “terror” in the sense of terror and bloodshed from the Arabic word “Tarr”. Thus, many people believe that the word “terrorism“ comes from the Latin word ”terror", meaning “fear and panic". This is accepted by everyone, but the Arabic word "Terror“ and the Latin word ”terror" have almost the same meaning. The true meaning of extremism is (from the French word “extremism“ and Latin ”extremus"), and its original meaning is extremism, extremes, opinions, extremist actions, going over extremes. Indeed, terrorism and extremism, like the plague of the century, threatened the security of the world and every inhabitant of the planet, posing no less a threat to humanity than nuclear weapons. Day by day, terrorism and extremism are becoming a global threat and are disturbing the modern world. The growth of extremist and terrorist crime contributes to the expansion of international terrorism, the activation of extremist elements, and the involvement of young people in the ranks of extremist and terrorist organizations. Today, terrorism and extremism have acquired an international character, through which superpowers protect their national and State interests. This phenomenon extends not only to the internal politics of individual countries, but also to the relations of individual states, as the Leader of the nation, respected Emomali Rahmon, noted in this regard: “The fight against terrorism and extremism requires creating an atmosphere of trust, respect for each other's interests and uniting all countries of the world in the face of this common threat. The application of a “dual policy" in relation to terrorism and extremism seriously reduces the effectiveness of the efforts of the world community to jointly combat these phenomena, on the contrary, creates new contradictions between military and political coalitions and further destabilizes the global atmosphere. I have repeatedly stressed from the rostrums of the United Nations and other reputable international organizations that a terrorist has no homeland, nation, or religion.” Extremism and terrorism are one of such undesirable phenomena of the modern era, the fight against which is the duty of every full–fledged person. Terrorism and extremism, like the plague of the century and other undesirable phenomena, pose threats to the peace and security of the planet and the stability of the State, undermine the security and unity of peoples and nations. No society can thrive without social security. Indeed, as a result of terrorist attacks in many countries of the world, innocent people are being killed, cities, villages and unique historical monuments are being destroyed, and the damage to the economies of countries amounts to hundreds of billions of dollars. This continuing adverse phenomenon is fraught with dangers in all respects and not only leads to an increase in political, economic, humanitarian and cultural threats and dangers, but also causes outbreaks and growth of all types of infectious diseases in all regions of the world, calls into question the health of society, and also entails large expenditures to the country's budget. The leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, dear Emomali Rahmon, spoke on this issue, which is the headache of the day:”Today, terrorism and extremism, like the plague of the century, threaten the security of the world and every inhabitant of the planet, posing no less a threat to humanity than nuclear weapons." It should be noted that to date, the Republic of Tajikistan has organized and held a number of high-level conferences and meetings in order to combat terrorism and is always at the forefront of the fight against this undesirable plague of time. From the above, it becomes obvious that today every member of society needs to unquestioningly fight terrorism and extremism. After all, only in harmony can you deal with this undesirable and dangerous phenomenon. Our compatriots, who have a high sense of patriotism, patriotism, self-awareness and self-awareness, will never allow peace and stability in the country to be violated.
