Today, a gathering of young professionals in the sector entitled “The Role of Youth in Strengthening State Independence” was held at the Committee on Religion and Regulation of Traditions and Ceremonies under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
At the beginning of the gathering, the leadership of the Committee emphasized that, under the wise leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, important measures are being implemented in the country to strengthen national unity, protect national values, enhance legal and religious awareness, and ensure compliance with legislation regulating celebrations and ceremonies.
First Deputy Chairperson of the Committee for Youth and Sports Affairs under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahimzoda Shabnam Karim, in her speech on state youth policy, emphasized that young people should, with a sense of civic responsibility, a strong spirit of patriotism, and national self-awareness, make a worthy contribution to strengthening national values and the development of society.
Abubakr Ahmadzoda, Head of the Department of Religion and Regulation of Celebrations and Ceremonies of the Executive Body of State Power of Dushanbe, spoke about the role of youth in raising legal awareness, complying with legislative requirements, and developing a proper culture of conducting celebrations and ceremonies.
The event continued with several Committee employees sharing their views on the role of youth in strengthening national values, self-awareness and national consciousness, preventing superstition and extremism, as well as promoting a culture of conducting celebrations and ceremonies.
At the conclusion of the gathering, certificates of appreciation from the Youth Union of Tajikistan were presented to a number of active young people for their significant work and valuable contribution to the development of the sector.
