On August 19, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, and Chairman of the Council under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan on the Development of the Digital Economy, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the first meeting of the Council was held.
The meeting was attended by members of the Council, as well as heads and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies.
The meeting addressed issues related to the priority areas and measures for implementing the Medium-Term Program for the Development of the Digital Economy in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030, as well as the proposal concerning “The Full Digitalization of Public Services and Integration of Data Repositories.”
The President of the country and Chairman of the Council, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, emphasized that the establishment of the Council represents a logical continuation of the state’s policy aimed at modernizing the national economy, improving public administration, and harnessing the potential of digital technologies.
