On May 28, 2026, an unscheduled regional scientific-practical seminar was held in Javan District, organized by scientists of the Institute of Livestock and Pasture Management jointly with the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region and the Center for Advanced Training of Personnel of the Agro-Industrial Complex of the region. The seminar was dedicated to the topic “Priority Directions for the Development of Poultry Farming in Modern Conditions and Ensuring the Population with Food Products — Meat and Eggs.”
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, scientists of the Tajik Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the Institute of Livestock and Pasture Management, the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, the Institute of Economics and System Research of Agricultural Development, representatives of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region, agricultural departments and divisions, poultry enterprises of the region, as well as mass media representatives.
It is worth noting that during the scientific-practical seminar, specialists of the sector delivered scientific presentations and provided participants with effective recommendations for the development of the poultry industry.
