On August 26, 2025, ahead of the 2025–2026 academic year, a charitable event was held in the city of Bokhtar, during which 50 orphaned children and needy families were presented with school gifts and essential educational supplies.
The initiative was organized by the Executive Authority of the city of Bokhtar under the leadership of the city’s chairman, Abdulmajid Muminzoda. Its goal was to support the younger generation, provide better learning conditions, and uplift the spirits of children and their parents.
In his speech, the city chairman, Abdulmajid Muminzoda, noted that this initiative is carried out in line with the humane, caring, and educational policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon. He emphasized that supporting orphaned children and needy families and creating favorable conditions for their education is one of the key directions of the activities of the state and government.
— “We always strive, at the beginning of each school year, to extend a helping hand to such families, because every child should step into school with joy and good hopes. Education is the main factor in the development and progress of society,” added Abdulmajid Muminzoda.
The children and families who received support expressed their gratitude for the attention of the executive authorities and the state’s ongoing care.
Holding such charitable initiatives on the eve of the new school year is a vivid confirmation of the stable social policy of the state and society of Tajikistan, which always places the individual—especially the child and their future—at the center.
