Mother's Day, which was declared in honor of mothers at the initiative of the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, is celebrated annually as a symbol of happiness. This day is dedicated to mothers, as they are the creators of life, the nurturers of generations, and the guides for adolescents and youth on the path of goodness and family stability. In praise of women and mothers, thousands of works filled with love and affection have been created, and the image of a Tajik woman has been depicted in the earliest folk books of our cultural heritage as a free-spirited and freedom-loving individual, beautiful and graceful, wise and culture-loving, courageous and strong, patriotic and devoted to her homeland, a skilled artisan and housekeeper, and a nurturing figure.
In this regard, the services of the Leader of the Nation, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, in recognizing the value and respect for mothers as the source of life, the greatest and most sacred human beings, and the first educators of humanity, are immense. These points are clearly expressed in the ongoing efforts of the Head of State through instructions, congratulatory messages, and speeches from high national and international platforms, as well as during meetings with the public. Specifically, the Head of State emphasized, “The strong heart of a mother nurtures love, gives hope to the disheartened, and grants each of us the wings to fly and the energy for life.”
For this reason, loving, respecting, and appreciating the efforts and love of mothers is the human duty of every child. It is no coincidence that in the history of all world civilizations, respect for parents is one of the central moral principles, and the status and rank of women and mothers is the highest.
With respect to the sacred figure of women and mothers, I would like to once again sincerely congratulate all respected mothers and women of our country on the occasion of Mother's Day – a joyous celebration of spring, beauty, loyalty, and love, and wish each of them health, good fortune, and a prosperous family life.
