Meeting between the Head of the Communications Service and the Head of the Russian Company “MegaFon”

At the invitation of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the General Director of PJSC “MegaFon” of the Russian Federation, Khachatur Pombukhchan, arrived in the Republic of Tajikistan on a working visit and held a meeting with the Head of the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Isfandiyor Sa’dullo.

The meeting was organized at the initiative of the Communications Service to discuss the activities of the “MegaFon” company in the Republic of Tajikistan, the current state of cooperation, and relevant issues related to the development of the communications sector.

During the talks, the Head of the Communications Service drew Khachatur Pombukhchan’s attention to the need to improve the quality of telecommunications services, ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of communication networks, accelerate the introduction of modern technologies, expand telecommunications network coverage, comply with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan, and fully fulfill the company’s commitments.

It was emphasized that the Communications Service, as an authorized state body, continuously analyzes and evaluates the activities of all telecommunications operators, taking necessary measures to ensure fair competition, protect the rights and legitimate interests of users, improve the quality of communication services, and ensure sustainable development of the country’s digital infrastructure.

During the meeting, the management of “MegaFon” was encouraged to intensify its participation in improving the quality of services provided in the Republic of Tajikistan, implementing joint projects, attracting investments, introducing advanced technologies, exchanging best practices, and training highly qualified specialists.

In turn, the General Director of PJSC “MegaFon” of the Russian Federation, Khachatur Pombukhchan, presented the company’s strategic plan for fulfilling existing obligations, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and implementing new initiatives in the telecommunications sector of the Republic of Tajikistan. He also expressed gratitude to the leadership of the Communications Service for the invitation and for organizing a constructive meeting.

Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to continue constructive cooperation, ensure the implementation of the agreements reached, and further strengthen partnership relations.
