A festive event was held at the Agency of Civil Service under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the leadership and employees in honor of the International Navruz Holiday.
The Director of the Civil Service Agency, Idrizoda Ilyos Mumin, congratulated the Agency’s employees and civil servants on the arrival of the bright holiday of Navruz, wishing them good health, well-being, inspiration, new strength, and outstanding success in their future endeavors.
In his speech, he emphasized that we take pride in the fact that, thanks to the independence of our beloved Tajikistan and the wise, culturally enlightening policies of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the great holiday of our ancestors, Navruz, has been revived with all its ancient traditions and is celebrated with grandeur throughout the country.
With the arrival of Navruz, nature comes to life, warmth triumphs over cold, light overcomes darkness, and movement prevails over stillness. According to the cherished traditions of Navruz, the arrival of spring marks the beginning of agricultural work, greening initiatives, tree and flower planting, cleaning of canals and irrigation ditches, yard improvements, and the beautification of streets and cities in every Tajik household.
Navruz is a unique heritage of our ancestors, a testament to the ancient origins of our people, and clear proof of their scientific worldview. This holiday is not only a time of joy and celebration but also a representation of our rich history and culture on the international stage.
We take great pride in the fact that, thanks to the direct initiative of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, Navruz has become an international holiday. On February 18, 2010, at the 64th session of the United Nations General Assembly, a resolution declaring March 21 as the "International Day of Navruz" was adopted at the proposal of the Republic of Tajikistan. Furthermore, Navruz has been officially included in UNESCO's List of Intangible Cultural Heritage.
The ancient and bright holiday of Navruz, which is celebrated with great joy in our beloved Tajikistan, unites the past and present, preserves the noble traditions of our ancestors, strengthens intergenerational ties, reconnects us with our roots and national identity, and revives and safeguards the most beautiful customs and traditions of the Tajik people.
One of the humanitarian traditions of Navruz is forgiveness, caring for orphans, supporting the elderly, and providing charitable assistance to those in need. It is gratifying that generous individuals continue this noble tradition of our ancestors by extending constant support to orphans, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
Moreover, under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the people of Tajikistan are preparing to solemnly celebrate the sacred national holiday – the 35th anniversary of state independence, planning the construction of thousands of industrial and social facilities. Today, cities, districts, and villages across the country have become major hubs of creative and constructive activity.
During the Navruz celebrations, the Civil Service Agency has also intensified its efforts in landscaping and construction, adding even more splendor and grandeur to the festive events.
Additionally, at the event, Deputy Director of the Agency, Kurbonzoda Hilolbi Jumakhon, Head of the Legal Support Department, Sharifzoda Azamjon Nurali, Head of the Organizational and Information Department, Kenzhazoda Mirzo Anvar, as well as heads of personnel, office management, and control departments, delivered congratulatory speeches. They extended their best wishes to all participants on the occasion of the International Navruz Holiday.
