On February 8, 2025, the Agency of Civil Service, as part of the implementation of the "National Program 'Green Country' of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2023-2027," conducted a tree-planting campaign. According to this program, 5 million seedlings, including poplars and other shade-tolerant and evergreen decorative trees, will be planted along the highways of Tajikistan.
In accordance with this program and the approved plan, 120 evergreen and shade-giving trees—spruces—were planted at 255 Aini Avenue in Dushanbe with the participation of 31 employees and the leadership of the Agency. The surrounding area was also cleaned, loosened, leveled, and watered.
The implementation of this program contributes to climate change adaptation and is one of the steps toward achieving the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030.
In this regard, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has adopted another important document in this field—the "State Greening Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period until 2040." The measures provided for in this program are aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, restoring the ecological state of atmospheric air, maintaining a stable natural balance, and adapting to climate change.
At the conclusion of the tree-planting campaign, the leadership of the Agency of Civil Service emphasized that this initiative should be continued on a regular basis.
