The training of highly qualified personnel and the continuous improvement of the knowledge and professional skills of civil servants is one of the main areas of activity of the Civil Service Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, as the authorized body in the field of civil service. In this regard, necessary measures are regularly taken in cooperation with the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and other government bodies.
According to the legislation on civil service, the training of civil servants is a state privilege, and every civil servant must undergo professional development once every three years. In this context, retraining courses have commenced for civil servants of the local executive authorities of regions, cities, and districts who were appointed to public service in 2023–2024. The training is conducted under the program “Legal Foundations of the Civil Service of the Republic of Tajikistan,” with the participation of Deputy Director of the Civil Service Agency Qurbonzoda Hilobi Jumakhon, First Vice-Rector of the Academy of Public Administration Odinazoda Firdavs Jalil, and Director of the Institute for Advanced Training and Retraining of Civil Servants of the Academy of Public Administration Hamidzoda Shohrukh Bozor.
The course consists of 46 academic hours and will be held from April 7 to April 12, 2025. Upon completion of the course, a round table will be organized, and participants will be awarded certificates.
